The firm, established in 1977 under the name Studio Legale Bassi & Terzi, was the first associated law firm in Reggio Emilia.

The activity of the firm, independent and free, is characterized by its multidisciplinary and transversal nature, with a focus on legal assistance and advice to Italian and foreign companies.

The firm has invested in the high specialisation of its professionals and in an articulated and certified structure, able to promptly provide clients with targeted solutions to address problems and initiatives, even ones of significant complexity.

The firm has, since its origins, an international vocation and operates in the extrajudicial, judicial and arbitration fields, both in Italy and abroad, making use of a network of reliable and qualified external partnerships, in order to guarantee the best and most effective response to clients’ needs.

In early 2019 the firm changed its name to Legal Twelve Avvocati Associati and adopted a new logo.

The number 12 of the new name indicates the areas of activity of the firm and, according to numerology, recalls the concept of transformation and growth through the overcoming of obstacles, a meaning that is well suited to the daily activity of the lawyer that is called to assist clients in solving often complex situations.

Consistent with this corporate identity is the new logo, which evokes the myth of Theseus in the graphic image of the thread that Ariadne gave him and that of the labyrinth.  This represents the firm’s ability to resolve difficult and urgent situations.

 Legal Twelve’s professionals work in teams, sharing the skills acquired in the experience of daily activity and identify themselves in the phrase of the Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu: “Knowledge is a treasure, but practice is the key to it“.

The association is composed of the lawyers Francesca Bertani, Marco Moretti and Silvia Piccinini (associated since 2008), while Giulio Terzi, co-founder in 1977, is an honorary member and Of Counsel.  The firm avails itself of the stable internal collaboration of other lawyers.
